Women’s Wellness Circles

Silhouette of women together in wellness with a backdrop of blue sky with clouds

A women’s wellness circle is a way to create ritual around being together as women in community. With each circle, a theme or intention inspires us to be vulnerable and empower one another to live our lives in a way that honors who we are as individuals. Activities like journaling, dance, or discussion inspire growth and transformation. My hope is that you will find your voice while discovering what is uniquely and wonderfully you.

Group Guidelines

  • Confidentiality: Members should agree to keep everything discussed in the circle confidential, unless otherwise agreed upon by the group. This creates a safe space for women to share their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment or repercussions.
  • Active listening: Members should agree to listen actively and attentively to each other without interrupting or judging. This creates a supportive and empathetic environment where women can feel heard and understood.
  • Respect: Members should agree to respect each other’s opinions, beliefs, and values, even if they differ from their own. This creates a non-judgmental and inclusive space where all women feel welcome.
  • Participation: Members should agree to participate in the circle to the best of their ability, whether that means sharing their thoughts and feelings or simply listening to others. This creates a sense of community and connection among the group.
  • Timekeeping: Members should agree to arrive on time and stay for the duration of the circle, unless otherwise agreed upon by the group. This creates a sense of commitment and respect for each other’s time.

Listening is where love begins: listening to ourselves and then to our neighbors.

Wellness Circle Questions?

I’m happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Right now, the plan is for women’s circles to happen once a month at my space located at Brodie and William Cannon. The fee is $10. If finances are a barrier to attendance, please contact me and we can work something out.
